Trade

Johnson is a good Spokane boy so he may have grew up cheering for the FLames (Spokane's culture is more similar to Calgary than Vancouver), but I see no need for him, and no offense even if we would have a need, that package isn't going to come close. I'm sure Backlund has to go the other way, and of course we add more, or Bennett goes the other way and they add.

Hawks: You didn't add Monahan to the Calgary lineup or Gaudreau. Centre doesn't seem to be an issue with the Flames. How's this, If Tampa were to trade Johnson, Tampa would what cheap guys on ELCs for another year or two, because the only reason they would trade Johnson is because of cap issues. A team like Dallas who have young Dmen prospects, or Minni (I'm not sure what Minni could offer in return) might be a better fit.

Before Flames drafted Monahan and Bennett, I wanted Johnson on the team and for the Flames to draft Lindholm instead haha.
