I like the idea you propose here, but I have a few tweaks I would make:

1) Hagelin with Crosby

2) Hudler with Malkin

3) Kunitz on the 4th line (getting older and slower)

4) Fehr to 4th line

5) Rust with Malkin

Besides that I like the rest. I would even like to see them go after Bartkowski with that kind of available cap space. Sign him to a low maybe $1.5M cap hit for 1 year to add more depth to the defense.

Winnipeg is not taking on a goalie. People should stop. Helly was better than Murray this yr in the NHL why would they bring in fleury to mess with their own stud young goalie?
