This is without any regular season games.
2 month off season for next year.....nope. they just want click bait for a few months. Can't do the draft, FA, camps, and combine in 2 months. Let alone if it goes longer than april 30th.

you can't just "push" it back.
The whole league has a schedule. TV channels have a schedule, etc...
Fox sports puts on NHL, NBA, and MLB. on the local channel. They'd all jam together. They can't do that.
It's a mess. For so many reasons. It's not like they can simply start whenever they want.
