Well Thats One way to Fix our Goalie Problems

The only way you could get Chicago 1st round (top 10) pick is by taking Seabrook Contract. You offer a bunch of suspect and a late first round pick and a late second round pick. The top ten of this year is looking to be outstanding, maybe San jose could offer TB first round and Col 2 nd round to move up a few spot but not in the top 10. Gregor and Ferraro wouldn’t even be in Chicago top ten prospect so they don’t care about those 2.

Ferraro isn’t a “suspect” prospect

He’s a future top 4 LD who could probably start in that role next season
Gregor is also a decent prospect who could maybe play on the 2nd line one day

I think the deal is close in value, obviously unlikely San Jose does this but just an idea

You are in a complete disbelief with those to SUSPECT.
Gregor will be a bottom 6 forward, he got speed but he doesn’t have a great released or uncharted playmaking abilities, he is just a hard worked guys who will likely be around 25-35 point a season. Ferraro skate well and move the puck nicely but he is not top 4 material, not in a near futur.
Chicago have Beaudin, Krys, Mitchell, Boqvist, Vlassic (alex), Dennis Gilbert, Ryan Shea, Lucas Carlson who are Nhl ready or very Highly ranked prospect and that just on defense. Mario Ferraro wouldn’t even received a entry level contract from Chicago if they had drafted him since they are deep at that position. Up front they have young forward like debrincat, Strome, Dach, Nylander, and Kurashev and Entwisttle in the Ahl that are viewed with more upside than Gregor.

Your not that off on Gregor, he is more likely to be a bottom six guy but he for sure has a shot at playing higher. You are off on Ferraro though, he is a very high energy fast D man and will easily play top 4 D by even next year. He doesnt get a whole lot of points and is in his rookie year, but is insanely underrated

Maybe on the Shark roster but he wouldn’t be in any top 4 around the league i guarantee you that. Ferraro have had a ok rookie season nothing outstanding. I have seen similarities with Victor Mete, both are small speedy defenseman, with good stick work and decent offensive abilities. Maybe at some point he will be a efficient top 4 but if San jose have him in their top 4 next year expect to have another down year. As for Chicago impressive Defensive prospect pool Ferraro is not even close to Beaudin, Boqvist, Mitchell, who are very highly viewed young defenseman around the league.
