It's a fun concept, but if there is another World Cup. I want to see Czechia, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Germany represented. The Swiss and Germans are emerging powers - I want to see how far they can go, and the Czechs have won on the international stage before.
I think a team Euro could work to show the few French, Baltic, Danish, Norwegian, (and Kopitar) players
Are you considering russia part of europe?
If so, ovechkin should be on the list, and probably kuznetov.
ekman-larsson and karlsson should be here too.
where is kucherov? he is arguably the best european player, other than maybe ovechkin.
voracek could also be considered for this list, he's a good winger
hedman is a good dman and deserves a spot on the team.
vasilevkiy should be on here too.
(of course most of this relies on whether you consider russia i part of europe)

This is from the World Cup a few years ago. Russia is its own team.
Group 1-USA, Canada, Russia and Europe(all other European countries)
Group 2-Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic and team NA( USA and Canada players under 24)

Sort of. This is for a series for The Hockey News using a six-team format of cap-compliant rosters. So no NA (just because it wouldn't be fair to have a team full of guys on ELCs or on small second deals) and no Czech Republic, with Europe adding players from there. Otherwise, same teams.
