They MIGHT trade Price for Bishop, NO Vas, Johnny or Drouin.

Barring another bizarre injury scenario again regarding Price, saying Bishop MAYBE for Price is just silly. (I do agree about the trade proposed above though. Thats way too much) Bishop is first class goalie no doubt but Price did what he did with a far inferior team in front of him. Vasilevski showed that Bishop was expendable. Not too mention that Price has an extra year of contract more than Bishop which right there makes him worth more.

TB would of won the cup if they had Price in nets that year they went against the Hawks. Yes he's that good and no I'm not being biased. MTL had no business being as far as they were in that playoff year when TB beat them in 5 games i think. That was all Price's doing. The year previous when Krieder took out Price's knee, it would of been MTL playing against LA in the final.

MTL's success the past 5 years has largely been attributed to Price. Not Pacioretty, not Subban, not someone else. Price. This year showed exactly what happens when you remove him from our lineup and throw in a AHL goalie in his place. MTL was the worst team in the league since Price got injured last year. Worse then the Leafs during the same stretch and Price was nearly injured all year. Not just a 20 game stretch or anything.

Someone put together a similar trade on anther thread. I'll give the same response, no way TB is giving Johnson away. The other 3 guys perhaps, they might even give Kucherov instead of Drouin cause of capspace problems.
