Get Rick Nash

I don't view the Nash trade as perfect. I think the Hawks add, I'm just not familiar with the Rangers needs

NYR fan here very familiar with the Nash situation. The Hawks actually are on his list of teams he would go to and I would love to see him play in Chicago he would win a well deserved cup there. We need defensively help so badly so it would start there and the Rangers probably would want pick(s). I like your trade it's a fair package it's just the Rangers are just as cap strapped as the Hawks and I couldn't see them retaining half of Nash's salary if they won't even buyout Dan Girardi's contract. I like your idea I hope the Hawks win another cup because we certainly won't be winning it anytime soon.

3.9 M retained lol I don't think there's a GM in the league that you can con into retaining that much salary unless its a team with a ton of space and going nowhere (like CAR with E Staal).

Would hate to lose two more RHD in the wake of Johns and Paliotta last summer. That would basically leave the Hawks with only Seabrook as a rightie dman.
