Description
How would you rank the Hall trade compared to the 4 big trades the Sens made last Season?

I've got

D - Karlsson (Not even close)
C - Stone (Quality over Quantity)
A - Hall
B - Dzingle (getting duclair as a throw in is ridiculous)
E - (this is still a wait and see)

The Devil's #.

The Karlsson trade is still a wait and see approach IMO. Norris and Balcers could prove to be solid NHL players. Nothing Elite but competent top 6 to 9 forwards. Demelo has proven to be a wonderful gem of a RHD. Could see him and Boro become the bottom 6 as a shutdown crew. Volchenkov and Philips 2.0 if you will. Tierney has been nothing but reliable. We also got the baby giraffe in Mads Sogaard which is like, 90% of our future in net. I'm hopeful...

The Stone trade... has me shaking my head to this day... Brannstrom could turn out to be Tory Krug 2.0 or... a bust. He looks good in the AHL right now and is a little out of place in the NHL... but it was Mark Stone... Alfie 2.0 IMO.

The Dzingel trade is my favourite. The ultimate win of a deal.

The Duchene deal... was good when it happened and, in hind-sight, was one of the worst trades in Ottawa history... Ottawa was in a position to win now but analytics finally caught up to them and Karlsson was a shell of himself after off-season surgery and the same with the likes of Brass and Turris... they were hot until Sweden. And then the Hoffman thing... and the MacArthur thing... it was bad season.

Concerning the haul for Hall... it remains to be seen but I like it for Arizona. I think they have a solid chance of re-signing him.

Oh I seeeeeee...... laugh

Couple things for me:

1) Norris and Balcers are turning out to be a much better player than I thought they were. Both a tearing up the minors.
2) I hated losing Stone.. but being able to get Brannstrom over Hague would have been like if NJD were able to get Soderstrom over Bahl. So I am happy for that.
3) 120%
4) Happy that OTT can finally move on from that trade.
