Description
I firmly believe that Holland will be able to move cap-heavy players like Russell and Neal next summer, as both are playing well this year. However, this roster was created to look at what the team can do without moving any cap off the books, if for some reason it isn't possible.

End result: a slightly improved team with $4.5M in cap space to improve further. Not a bad position to be in, trading Khaira for a pick would allow the Oilers to sign a guy like Kreider, for instance.

    don't think you'll get howden for puljujarvi.. not that it isn't a fair trade or if i was JG i wouldn't accept that in a heartbeat, but NYR seem to be very high on Howden even though he's in the role he'll be in for the rest of his career -- a 3rd line center. I hope they do this, cause it'll open up the 3c spot for who actually deserves it-- andersson

    Maybe. Pretty sure I've seen NYR fans suggest it though - and the value seems pretty equal.

    like i said, i'm a NYR fan and would accept it.. JG and the actual NYR will not because they are very high on howden for some reason

    Fair enough - I see lots of Edmonton trades on here that Holland wouldn't accept. Do you think Gorton would send Andersson? Any other suggestions?

    It was reported that Andersson was offered and holland refused it.. he's looking for a winger apparently, not a center (baffles me why he doesn't think a 21 year old can switch to wing)
