Before sharks fans tear me apart for this. We get a 23 whos a top 6 winger NOW. Not true whos 22 and trying to make the NHL, or Blich whos got potential, or Suomela whos 26 and bottom 6 material. Blich and True are hard to lose, throw in losing Dillon and I’m crying too. But Dillon deserves more ice time and he most likely would be seeing 3rd line time or mixed time with Karlsson but not full time. We still have a good D core, we gain a legit top 6 whos young and yeah we lose a 2020 pick and 2 good prospects but you have to pay for quality. And the leafs need help with keeping their big guys staying so I see this trade legit possibly coming together in some way

I’d think they’d want 2020, bracco would break the trade, and we should get a d replacement.

And Dahlen although I suggest trading him a lot too, if he does well this year it could be better for us to keep him so I’ve left that boat

Dahlen has top six potential and True really doesn’t. In fact none of the guys in your trade have any real top six potential. Blichfeld is hit or miss for the pros but likely a fourth liner if he does make the nhl. You really need to add Dahlen cause you are trading for a solid second line right wing. Braccos future is blurry, he’s likely going to the AHL for a third season and is even questionable for next year. He could be a scoring leader on he Barracuda replacing True.

They probably would but Doug would have to use some dark magic to avoid Ceci at all costs.
