What if Maybe

I feel like every time i come by a CGY AGM that has Brodie being traded to Montreal, the deal gets sweeter and sweeter for Montreal like if i wait another week or so, the offer will be a puck signed by Juulsen and a 7th round pick in 2022 for Brodie with 50% retained and a conditional 1st round pick...the condition is if you like hockey.... I mean if it were real I'd be jumping for joy but seeing as being honest doesn't decrease or increase the chance of it actually happening IRL, this is way not enough for Brodie. If you want Juulsen, fine but Habs would have to include a 2nd rounder for Brodie with no retention at the very least based on previous similar comparable trades.

Juulsen is a decent prospect and has shown some flashes of being a super sturdy top 4 type guy but just when he was starting to get good, he was sent down to the AHL and then had a season ending eye injury. Now its not a career ending one by any means but his value isn't exactly through the roof right now. Juulsen and 4th for a 1.4M retained Brodie with a full year on his contract left. That is worth a late 1st round pick or a top 6 player with the same type of circumstances. Pending UFA - 3-5m cap)
