Question for Dallas fans

I think it's worth it. There's enough talent on the blue line and in net to at least make the wild card. Plus the talent at forward with Benn, Seguin, Radulov, and the emergence of Hintz. Keeping Zuccarello probably wouldn't give NYR a top-10 pick. However, if Dallas is nervous, they could chase someone else like Panarin, Nelson or Hayes instead.

I'm just saying there is a possibily the picks becomes a top 10. There is also a more likely possibility the picks become a 16 and + .

Yeah there's definitely a possibility of it, but I think with the talent on this team it'd be better to gamble.
They could just have the best of both worlds by signing someone like Panarin. Improving at forward AND keeping their pick.

IF (idk the odds) Panarin sign in Dallas, they are serious cup contender IMO

I don't mind re-signing Zucc, but he wouldn't be my first target, because of the 1st Round Pick cost. I'd go after guys like Duchene, Dzingel, Nyquist, etc. before signing Zuccarello. If all else fails, re-sign him and give up the 1st. Re-signing him wouldn't be an awful idea, but there are other options I would exhaust first.
