This is the worse Petry trade have seen. You traded Petry to move up in the draft ? That’s it ?

Yes to move up. Yes value asked was not too high, the worst, well ok. If I was Van, not sure I would like to pay more as the team are close to complet the reset/rebuild. Top 5, if I was them, they should keep their pick, LA/DET should also keep their pick to rebuild, EDM not sure If petry would like to lift his NMT and seem like BUF have their RD.

PHI/MIN/FLO would be the next one.

What do you think a fair offer would be for Petry?

If Florida want to land Panarin/Bobrovsky they will need to keep some cap room. Add Malkin talk into this and they will be close to the top end
