even it´s not likely i don´t se too much better options for panarin to get huge money and also play for the Cup. maybe the run convinced him to stay with a little overpayment! Also have the option to trade one or two defenders (there a lot good here) for offensive help if Panarin or even Duchene not signs here... Next Season will also be Fun ;) Shipping off Wennberg is also a option to safe money but i would give him another chance.

I like the idea of keeping any of the big 3, but the one you have to keep around to not be a bubble team is Bobrovsky, other wise we’re a team who’s going to struggle to keep pucks out of our own net and will need to put score everyone 7-6 and against teams with a star goalie, that’s not going to happen.

This also puts us in a really bad spot next year when PLD, Anderson, Gavrikov and Kukan need new contracts. That said you probably over paid Merzlikins about a 1 mil more then he’ll make and Werenski on that contract would be for 3 years, not 7.

Overall pretty solid.

Lots of yikes here. Panarin will sign a max length contract wherever he goes. Same with duchene. Not sure why Elvis’ contract is that high considering he hasn’t played one game yet. Murray not getting a long contract. At best will be 3 years at a low salary
