I think he’d do better in Buffalo but NYR could trade Fast instead and utilize Puljujarvi in a 3/4 line role, and move him up as he progressses.

IMO Strome, Ryan > 3rd; Puljujärvi, Jesse > 3rd; Pionk, Neal > 3rd therefore Strome, Ryan + Puljujärvi, Jesse + Pionk, Neal > 2nd + 7th. I would make this trade without hesitation if I were the Sabres GM. I could still send Pionk and Puljujärvi to Rochester and Strome would have been the fifth highest scoring forward last year. I would appreciate comments regarding my evaluation.
