Montreal trade:
mon: receives top 6 winger who is a power forward and is cape able of scoring 30+, especially with someone like Drouin who will eventually be a stud, they can benefit from each other.

Vgk: Trade is assuming they get the 17th overall pick but they may go far in playoffs and this would be with whoever is 17th overall. (May need to add like a third)

Rest of Trades are just to help those teams with depth and they just give up later round picks.

Hopefully Dallas doesn’t do good next year and we get another shot at the lottery with their pick and possibly our if we don’t make the playoffs.

We have 15 mill in cap space and then 8.5 more when lundqvist contract is done and we can use that to resign Kakko, chytil, lias, Kravtsov, howden, Miller etc... pionk could possibly be traded with someone and maybe hope for a solid first pairing defence (the deal would be with someone with high value as well) or a second round pick maybe/ added to sweeten a deal for a team. I’d really try to keep our top nine together as they could end up being a great core and our fourth line is a line where they’re all good defensively and they all work hard and will be able to score. (Will be given decent minutes)
