It works. I also don't think Z will sign for more than 6M - there's no way they give him more than what Jones made (in cap %) on his second deal.

And if further cap maneuvering needs to be done in the future...any of Foligno, Savard, Jenner, Berglund and Allen could all be moved to or bought out to make it work in 2020-21. We'll have Gavrikov, Merzlikins, Texier, etc. ready by then.

Columbus has no interest in trading Wennberg for futures. That's the problem when it comes to trading with St. Louis. There's nothing from your roster that you'd be willing to give up to make this work.
