no, graves has little value to flyers
johansen might not play next year, if he is healthy he is bought out
no one is paying for atkinson
hell no to seguin contract. already have to deal with couturier
none of the free agent targets are good either. brossoit makes some sense but they're gonna re-sign fedotov and have kolosov as #3

i know damn well this team has limited offensive talent, i've been following them heavily since 2012. they don't need an offensive stud pushing his late 30's, they need one in his early or mid-20's
i also know damn well what kane did in 2010 and his alleged sexual assault. no chance jones and co. touch kane with a 40 foot pole

Season tickets for the Coyotes: A single standing room only season ticket $3,280 (includes one beer per game).</div></div>
a significant part of this difference is that the remparts don't have to fork out 70 million dollars in salary. you can say what you want about having shared revenue, but no team in the league is going to agree to give another franchise that much money to simply exist
obviously if quebec had an nhl team there would be significant increases in the price, but the interest would still be substantial. they're selling out games at a level that is significantly below the nhl - if the nhl were back in quebec there is 0 reason to believe that they would be worse financially than the coyotes

the remparts consistently sell out an nhl sized arena (that was built specifically for an nhl expansion team might i add), there is more than enough of an interest to put a team back in quebec

flyers were literally offered a 1st and a 2nd for laughton at last years draft by multiple teams, so saying that it wasn't going to happen last year is objectively wrong. laughton's play has most certainly decreased his value this year i won't deny that one bit

yep. any cap 'malpractice' (not a great word for this context but idc) is perfectly fine until 26-27. michkov's rookie year needs to be the 1st year of 'advanced' playoff contention given he'll be on his elc as a top line winger

tbh there is probably more that makes konecny effective than what made gallagher effective (admittedly my memory of prime gallagher is quite spotty)
TK is a great playmaker (honestly his best ability imo) and can score from all over. the edge he plays with is a bit of a concern, but on a 6 year deal i wouldn't be too concerned

retaining on laughton would make it much more desirable. i wouldn't move cates or brink unless its necessary. brink has middle 6 playmaker ability and cates is a top 15 defensive forward in hockey, just playing the wrong position - move him to 3LW and he'd be incredible on a line with couturier and foerster in the future

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>Imo you guys should aim for Adam Jiricek as the defensive Dmen so Bonk and Drysdale can create offence</div></div>
drysdale would be the more offensive type, not fully sold on bonk's offensive ability just yet. playinig in london and playing bumper on the powerplay certainly helps his production, but has potential to be good defense first 2 way 3D imo. if york keeps playing like he has the last few weeks, he could be the 1D with drysdale/bonk as the RHD with sanheim and the other holding down the second pair
imo best possible case is somehow figure out a konecny-necas deal and have this as top 9/top 4
farabee-necas-michkov
tippett-frost-brink
cates-couturier-foerster (which would prob be best defensive line in hockey)
york-drysdale
sanheim (or other via trade or draft)-bonk

with them having committed to tippett (which they probably shouldn't have), i'd say trading TK is the best option. frees up a spot in top 6 for foerster/brink and could get someone who has potential to be a 1C someday

new bedard linemate
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>imawesome</b></div><div>Maybe I haven't been watching enough of him but I would not give Necas an 8x8. He's never been a ppg or a 30 goal scorer before and it's not like he's insanely young either. 25 obviously is still young but it's not like he's 22. For an 8x8 to be worth it in my opinion he either needs to be a 1st line player or elite 2C on a championship level team</div></div>
8 million might be a tad rich, but it would be worth it imo, especially if he were to be moved to chicago (although highly unlikely). he can play center, he just doesn't, and with his offensive output he fits the high-end 2C for me if he were to play the middle. him being a 30 goal scorer is irrelevant imo, he isn't a shot-first player
if he plays with bedard, i think he easily gets 80+ points

I think it's a workable starting point, but Riechel is a reclamation project at this point. I could see a world where an offer starts with the Leafs and Lightning 1st rounders. but there isn't much else I can think of that Carolina would want.
One of Vlasic or Korchinski would be nice in theory, but Nikishin kind of means it's not a need. Bedard would be huge, and I will personally drive Necas to Chicago if that happens, but it won't. But... outside of that... maybe one of Moore or Nazar could be interesting? I just don't see it</div></div>
I know the offer is light, was just exploring a possibility of having the next superline

That offer for Necas isn't close. Canes easily decline. Doubtful Hawks would offer up what it would take to get Necas. And Hawks aren't paying anything (even a 7th) for Ceci. Back to the drawing board...</div></div>
I do agree Hall fits the 'new linemate', but long-term was more my thinking. Don't worry, I'm well aware that offer isn't close and that it is almost guaranteed not to happen. Just thought it would be an interesting avenue to explore as a Bedard + Necas combo would be terrifying to play against
