Jacketsman thinks Hartnell is the hottest thing since sliced bread, and tries to pawn him off on teams as such. Hartnell + junk for their best assets. Laughable. No real understanding of the rest of the league, how trades works, and how teams don't want overpaid, old junk for their young assets. Sorry, not sorry.</i></div></div>

I understand Barrie scores more, but they are two different types of defensemen.
Jones is more of a physical, shut down defensemen and Barrie is more of a puck moving, offensive defensemen.
Although an offensive defensemen may score more points than a shutdown defensemen doesn't 100% mean that he should get more money (I simply used Jones as a comparable for what the market is paying as of June 29th. I cant imagine a fair deal isn't too far off of 5.4mil).

I understand Roy likes to roll 13 F and 8 D, I simply went with who I knew received offers and what my best guess would be on the dollar amount. As for who that outstanding D man will be, your guess is as good as mine.

Did you watch the first round of the playoffs? I know your team didn't make it again so maybe there wasn't much incentive to but if you did in fact watch the playoffs you would know that Panik was one of the best forwards on the Hawks that round.</i></div></div>

The goal is to win the cup not to make it to the playoffs and have your arse handed to you in the first round.
Avs are not in a position to compete in a Stanley Cup final right now and at the end of the day, ill happily take the 10th overall pick instead of a first round playoff knockout out lmao.

Its simple.
