If they can sign Shattenkirk...
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>krakowitz</b></div><div>Where to begin? For starters, why on Earth would we trade Tom Wilson for one of, if not the, biggest draft bust of all time? Why is MOJO only landing us a backup goalie and a second round pick, when he's worth so much more? Why is John Carlson bringing back two fourth liners and picks that are going to be late in those rounds (don't say because of his expiring contract, because that's BS)?</div></div>
Sorry for the late answer. I just forgot! I agree on the Wilson/Yak trade. STL need to send someting more. MOJO is not as good as people think (I'm from Sweden). Montoya can bring back more from a team looking for a goalie. Carlson trade may not be fair but its an example of whats needed to get rid of Orpik and still have some picks and prospects left. In the end its all about capspace. Do you have a counter-offer for Carlson?

Trying to use rumors and expansion draft.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NateElder12</b></div><div>That's actually a pretty solid idea for the #3. Probably a massive overpay for Duclair and Nino should be top line on this team hands down</div></div>
Thanks man! :) Duclair is a possesion driver. If this year was just a slump its a steel if not, well, that would be really bad for me :( Nino on the 3rd line means spreding out the veterans and creating scoring depht.

no but he's taking $10M in cap off their hands, giving them a pick in the 20's, and giving them a defenseman that they need. Just depends on whether DAL likes the guys in the draft or not</div></div>
Dallas are in win now mode. Don't forget they traded for Russell. Connor is big, righthanded smooth skating young D-man. Problem is he can't play hockey... Maybe Nill takes a chance? Doubt they buy him out if someone (me) is crazy enough to take him AND Kari. Do you have a counter-offer? :)

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Wildfan5611</b></div><div>Doesn't fit any of the Wild needs. Need a top 4 D, scoring. The 2018 1st rounder is intriguing because it could potentially be 1st overall, but to give up Nino just to shed Pominville seems like a mistake to me.</div></div>
Its more for the expansion draft. Get something for Nino and get rid of Jason and his NMC in the same deal. Get some capspace to.

Jackets and Arizona moving players before Expansion Draft
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jacketsman61</b></div><div><div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jel779</b></div><div>If he was good enough to make the team they would have kept him. They sent him back to junior bc he didn't make the NHL team. Good player yes - ready for the NHL obviously no. Keller is the #1 prospect out there no doubt.</div></div>
Not sure you completely understand why this makes sense. The Jackets are absolutely loaded at left wing. Saad while being young and an established player with great experience, also seems to struggle playing under the Torts system. The front office has no intention of not retaining Torts so one has to wonder if the Jackets would be better off moving Saad for a center that may get the Jackets to the next level not only next season but for many seasons to come?</div></div>

As an Arizona fan from Sweden i would blame Tippet for Strome not making it. 8-10min/game no PP. He's gonna be great! Centers are more valuable than wingers. Counter-offer, Strome for Saad, Korpisalo and CBJs 2017 1st.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>exo2769</b></div><div>I'd still with Mike Smith though. AZ doesn't spend money, so having two goalies getting paid just doesn't to work in my mind (for AZ). Spend that money elsewhere.</div></div>
Bolland on IR and Hossa whit a salary of 1M so its not as expensive a it looks. But I get your point :)

Yakupov for Girardi? Never gonna happen. IF it happens it will be the steal of all time. Add McD and take back a bad contract then maybe a conversation can start....

Start the re-build!
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div><i>That's a serious overpayment for the Avs to acquire McDonagh. It's not like he is going to lead the Avs to Cup contention and to give up 5 assets too. I'm sure Dallas isn't pleased with their goaltending late in their last series. But does any team think Lundqvist might be a difference maker now?</i></div></div> McDonagh is probobly their best asset. Yong D whit teamfriendly caphit. Someone would pay big time and Sakic has already proven himself as a bad GM. So I targeted the avs. Lundqvist is still one of the best in the game. And the Stars have really needs a golie who can steal games.

If you think you can get a player that you want then buy him out. But the longer you can wait the better it will be long term. Ganger has potential still. Its low risk/medium rewad typ. If it dosent work - find someone else.

Replace Lehtonen with Fleury
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>WingFanBT9</b></div><div><i>I actually saw someone else do a Niemi for Fleury with some other parts moving each way. I actually like that better than what you have here. I think it works both ways in that Pittsburgh needs a salary dumb and has a battle in net. Dallas needs a clear #1. Dallas retains a little Niemi money and takes on Fleury. Maybe a buyout of Lehtonen or even a dump to Calgary or Carolina for a late round pick and you just solved the goalie problem in Dallas.</i></div></div> Lehtonen, Nichushkin, 2 1st rounders for Lundqvist. Just because the Rangers really needs to start rebuilding and Stars needs a good golie. Im swedish - excuse my spelling!

Nice trade. Would be good for both teams i think! Mabey hard to make the Stars retain salary but worth a shot!
