Sujet: TML Marner Gone V4

The WPG / TOR trade is okay. I like Marner for WPG over Helly, Ehlers, etc... You can build a franchise around Marner because he can do everything except fight. haha

It's that contract - SO MUCH, and that he will most likely not stay after it's over.

Tough one here. TOR has to throw in that 1st round pick from BOS. Then it's a deal.

Sujet: Offseason Plans

Lambert is not on the table, especially for an older player. Schenn would be a great add to the Jets, but not for Lambert. Trading future for now is not smart. Even 1 for 1 WPG passes on this. They need to build for the future.

If you said... Schenn and your 10th overall pick for Lambert and WPG's 18th overall pick, then okay. Other than that... no.

That's a reasonable expectation. As "edeangel84" stated in their response to me... if Pickering is thrown in, then retention is fair to expect in return.

The only Jets not up for trading should be Morrissey, Samberg and Lowry. The rest of the Jets have reasons to be traded. KFC is soft and doesn't like to play a 200' game or go into corners and doesn't play full out. He's CRAZY talented, but doesn't like to show it often enough. He's valuable, but needs to go to a team where he thinks he can win and wants to be. If that happens, he could be scary.

NO to Evans and Debrincat. Talented kids, but NO MORE LITTLE GUYS or guys who are as injury prone as Ehlers. The Jets need to get bigger and stronger and need guys to go net front and into corners. WPG already has Ehlers, KFC and Scheifele who don't go into corners or if they do, they come out bug juice from getting squashed into the boards.

Very well stated. Very rational.

But, I'm going on previous experience over the last few weeks viewing the post, etc... Heaven help anyone mention Cossa, Kasper, Raymond, Edvinsson, Seider or any prospects.

I get Seider. He had an off year for his sophomore, but definitely someone people shouldn't even inquire about getting. Raymond? Okay... I guess. But from someone outside of DET, I don't get the rest of the players or prospects.

From WPG, we have Morrissey and Samberg. Other than that, the rest should be open for negotiations.

People say... oh no... not Kyle Connor, he's 26, good contract and had 80 points last year, 93 the year before, etc.. He's been close to, or over a ppg player, but I'm like... he's not perfect. No one is.

But, I've seen reactions from DET fans that are hilarious. They would rip your head off if you mention anyone on their team. I'm assuming they don't want to mess with the Yzerplan. I get that. No one should.

Who knows, I just find it hilarious when posters go over the top in their reactions. It's almost like they are angry in RL. That makes it even funnier.

Can't see DET trading Cossa and Hanas for Helly, but if they called WPG, I would fire the GM Chevytakestoomanydaysoff if he passed on that deal.

That would give the Jets Cossa and DiVincentiis at ages 20 and 19 as their future goalies to have as 1A and 1B or whatever.

I'm from WPG and a huge JETS fan and I agree. I don't know why anyone would trade for Scheifele. He's a lazy, annoying, weaksauce of a brat who barely plays a full 200' game and only pokechecks and NEVER goes into corners or stands in front of the net.

Be smart...stay away.
