On and off throughout the playoffs with Edmundson and that was with Bouwmeester in the lineup. I think we need LHD help you dont lets just leave it at that.

2- ... which just makes it harder to re-up Petro, a ka priority #1.</div></div>
right making the D lineups
Well I guess I just disagree that one of Mikkola. Gunnarson and Bortuzzo are good enough to be in the top 4. Also I do not think Adding a LHD at 3.5 mil will make or break adding re signing Petro, Dunns contract and moving Allen will determine that.

So you want to go into playoffs with Gunnarson, Dunn and Mikkola/Borts on the left side? No thanks
Plus Martinez has another year so you get him for next season as well.

If Hawks fall out of Playoff contention
the Leafs would not be the ones adding. Blackhawks would need to add a couple significant pieces or take on someone like Ceci
Kapanen is better than Nylander

Dermott is better than Murphy

I like it but I cant see FLA giving him up when they are on track to make playoffs. Would keep hoffman as their own "rental" IMO.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jack_</b></div><div>From what I've read he hasn't been as good of a play driver this season. Is zone entry and zone exit numbers have been down compared to previous years and he doesn't have great expected goals this season either. Hes slightly above average defensively but pretty brutal offensively based off of his isolated impact. Some of it might have to do with playing on his off side for a bit but from what I've watched and read so far hes been on the RS for most of the time. I dont think hes bad by any means but hes struggling this year.</div></div>
Parayko is very good defensively and is almost always paired against opposing teams top lines. He is not offensive, he has a heavy shot and can skate really well. On a high flying Leafs team as the #1RHD his assist numbers would probably jump a decent amount.
Reilly is much better offensively and Parayko is much better defensively just depends what your team wants/needs.
Problem is neither team would want to give up either player so the swap is pretty unlikely.

Also think this is an even trade if it were to for whatever reason happen idk if anyone would have to add. It would kind of even make sense for the Blues assuming Petro is resigned and having Faulk.

honestly that swap seems pretty fair, maybe WPG adds a mid round pick like a 3rd or 4th.

Blues 2020-21 moves
if this is done at next years deadline then its the same as any other aove average rental - 1st, young player and prospect
if it is done at draft or before season it would be more, or a 1 for 1 swap with a similar aged player.

Anderson to Blues
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>Well, you just said "Maybe revise to a 1st, sanford and mid level prospect instead of top prospect. OR 2nd Sanford and top prospect." Doesn't that seem like just a bit too much for Anderson, even before we take into account the cap issue with his raise next season? Sorry, but a 2020 1st, a player that is arguably just as good (and cheaper and already in the room and comes correct in the playoffs on short notice) plus a decent prospect is excessive for a guy in the biggest lull of his career. And something like a Kostin + 2020 2nd is just out of the question. We could get a better, more reliable player elsewhere for less than that, and even one that won't make signing Petro next summer harder to put together.</div></div>
Right Sanford and a 2nd is not an overpay. Anderson is better than Sanford so you have to give the 2nd to make it worth it to CBJ. IMO that second is not enough to get CBJ to give up Anderson. Therefor you have to give up MORE to get him. Which is why you make the 2nd a first or add a prospect.
They are the same age and draft class.
Sanfords best season 60 gp 20 points
Anderson has put up better numbers than that 3 years straight scoring 27 one of those years... and he is physical and in your face and hard to play against on a consistent basis.

You think Sanford and a 2nd is an overpay for Josh Anderson?! You are a delusional Bluesier man.

Off year with not really much to play with in CBJ outside of their top line. He is an RFA and is one of the last power forwards that can score left in the game. If he was an UFA I would agree it would not take as much. My offer may have been a bit high as I did not realize he only had 4 points this season. But for CBJ to be willing to move him it would have to be something worth while to them.
Maybe revise to a 1st, sanford and mid level prospect instead of top prospect.

2nd Sanford and top prospect.

Yeah I mean I figured its better safe than sorry and the retention should not really matter all that much.
If I was Army I would offer Sanford one of the prospects listed above that NY wants and a 2nd. And If they wont do it without a first then do it.

Kreider is solid but it shouldnt take that much to get him. Plus anyone not named Kyrou or Kostin is worth giving up for another cup run.
One of Walman/Borgman/Stevens/Tropchenko a 2nd and conditional pick if he resigns or we win the cup or something.
3 quality future pieces should get it done.
