Krys has signed a 2-year entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars. He had a productive year at Providence college in 23/24 - producing 6G-11A in 35GP
He was a (+2) defensively and was deployed in all situations.
Plus distributor on the PP. Sees the ice. Passes the puck hard and accurately. Has the skating ability to lead the PP breakout. Directs pucks on net, from range, quickly and effectively. Has the legs and vision to join the rush as an extra layer offensively.
Generally aware defensively. Room for more 'active' jump to take away time and space on the penalty kill. Good size - rangy - closes on opponents along the wall.
Potential 2-way 'D' at the NHL level.
