Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

1. Leafs can't play defense.
2. They've got expiring UFAs.
3. Principle: Remove the guys who can score but not defend, minimally recouping assets and ideally finding a team that's got a deep defense but having trouble scoring -- deal from strengths: scoring wingers, winger prospects, good 5/6 defensemen.

Sounds like one of those situations where the Leafs will forever be bounced from the playoffs because of a thin blue line, while Carolina will make it about as far, and no farther, because they can't score.
