Description
First off I do know this is not a likely scenario, but fun to think about nonetheless. Also I think this is just about as much Toronto would be willing to give up not necessarily his entire value.

Toronto in this trade essentially gives up two 1st round picks 3 2nd round picks (I assume you could trade bozak for a 2nd) a decent young player in Connor Brown and a middling prospect in bracco.

No way is Toronto getting John Tavares on a sign and trade deal, Without one of either Nylander or Marner going the other way this wont cut it.

Let me make this as simple as possible for both gentlemen above, (and Lark with his standard reply), IF I'm the Leafs, I have no interest in doing this deal. To give up a solid center, a 20 goal RW that would fit into NYI line up right now, 2 very marketable prospects (neither of which I would market until further review) and let me see. . . . 4 picks. . . . .HUH??????
Just shows how little was put into the above responses. WAIT A YEAR AND HE'LL BE MOVING ON ANYWAY!
