This roster as a whole as he presents it just doesn't make much logical sense... There is no way that they don't sign a legit top pairing RHD and Stamkos doesn't sign for that

They have not had a top pairing RHD in ages. Moser was playing top 4 for Arizona well over 20 minutes a night so he should be a reasonable partner to Hedman.

Stamkos is my favorite but most fans of opposing teams don't seem to understand his 5 on 5 is atrocious, he doesn't drive play anymore and he is mostly a power play specialist.

If a team wants to pay him more great for Stamkos but as I said in prior reply I don't think a lot of fans understand he no longer drives play and is a detriment at 5 on 5 a good amount of time.

That is the choice he has to make. I am not saying he will sign it. I am saying if he wants to play for Tampa that looks to be the only option for him. Stamkos is already rich, I am sure he has diverse portfolio so stretching out the money will be minimal to him so I don't think that is a determining factor.

Maybe the way Yzerman and now JBB have treated his negotiations he has had enough. I just know that what ever team signs him don't expect a 1 or 2 C that he was 7 years ago because they will be highly disappointed. Again, he is my favorite player but watching him since he came into the league he is no longer what a lot of opposing fans of the Lightning think he is.

At 34 I don't think anyone expects him to be the player he used to be but over the next 3 years its safe to expect him to bolster the PP and score 30 goals a year
