Swayman is going to ask for too much $$$ and Don's gonna want to go short term with him since he's an RFA and this may turn into a Nylander problem of Swayman sitting out until someone blinks or sitting out the season. He was not happy with how things went last year during his arbitration meeting so this could get interesting. I think Swayman's going to ask for 8x$9M and Don's going to come back with a 3x$6.5M. Swayman will be 28 at the end of the short term contract and will be a UFA and could get paid 7 or 8 x $10M+ with the cap going up.

Peeke's gotta go to keep cap flexibility for upcoming internal UFA's/RFA's and in case some big time UFA's head to market (Draisaitl, Rantanen, etc.) You can fill out the bottom pair D with two guys that make Peeke's contract. Can be any team that gives us a 3rd or 4rd RD pick.

Put Poitras between Marchy and Coyle to help develop and have Stephenson for insurance in case Poitras needs to go down to 3rd line C.
