As in, players that are known for their capacity to defend. They don't have to be defense-only types but I can think of a few guys that definitely belong there over Chabot and Matheson. Devon Toews is an easy fit to replace one of them as he's already Makar's partner and the flexibility of a guy like Weegar (plays both sides as a R-shot) would be a valuable addition, too. Pelech could be a good shutdown option to pair with Dobson on a 3rd pairing behind Toews-Makar & Morrissey-Bouchard. Also have to think they'd want at least one RD with a more defensive reputation, too. Names like Doughty, Pietrangelo, and Weegar (again) come to mind.
