No way LA gives up both Spence and Roy. They need one of them at least.

they aren't "giving up" Roy.....guy is a UFA......they're moving is rights so that a perspective team can have a few extra days to negotiate with him

If Matt Roy doesn't sign an extension by the draft, this trade isnt happening. LA won't lose both Spence and Roy. If Roy wants to go to free agency, the Kings will need Spence.

Brandt Clarke is the immediate replacement for Spence in this situation. They can just sign another non-permanent decent 2nd or 3rd pair defenceman to get them to the deadline if they need to. I also think that there's no way Brannstrom is in this deal, as the Kings have no use for him. The top pair could be Anderson and Doughty, and the second could be Chychrun and the mid-tier free agent. With the third pair being Gavrikov and Clarke. And Englund 7th D.
