Cernak would by far be your top RHS defenseman and Torts would absolutely love the guy. Duke is a very good prospect. Does either team do it TB certainly doesn't., and I doubt Philly does but Briere "blocks the number " is an absolutely moronic statement.

TB was 23 in GA and 5th in GF but they give up one of their best future pieces, and their best RD for more scoring UTTERLY STUPID MOVE!! Especially when Brisebois has stated on multiple occasions since seasons end his primary objective is reducing Goals against.

Regarding Cernak:

1. No he wouldn’t - Sanheim is a better player.
2. He can’t stay healthy for a full season.
3. His contract is far too long.

The Flyers have Drysdale, Risto, Bonk, Attard on the depth chart. If they’re trading Farabee, it will be to fill an organizational weakness like the center position, not their already overcrowded right side.

Notice how I said the trade doesn’t meet the Flyers needs? I didn’t say it was complete garbage, it just does nothing to help the Flyers.
