Pettersson is a UFA in a year. Flip him to another team at the TDL which moves Graves, Zadorov & POJ up. 3rd pair ends up 2.5M combined

Definitely need more depth scoring. Hopefully we can pounce on a trade with a team looking to clear cap space.

to me, in an ideal world, 3rd pair is POJ/JSI. theres a solid 3rd pair for less than two and a half million bucks. the other alternative is graves at 3rd pair which is awfully expensive. so try to trade him, eat money if you must, otherwise their gonna have to find a 2nd pair LHD on a cheap cap, which is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Wanting to trade your best defensive defensemen is certainly a take.
