Gonna assume your a Sharks fan, so I'll ask. For my team, I've moved Kampf to the Sharks for a 5th. I know that we I am cap dumping him, but he's got 3 years left at $2.5 mil. He seems like a guy that would be valuable in SJ for a few years as they usher in their next generation of young players, and they still have to ice an NHL lineup.

Sharks don't need Kampf.

We have Sturm.

Even if Grier was interested in in Kampf he's certainly not paying for him.

He's a cap dump.

It's essentially why you see him traded in 99% of Leafs CFACGMs.

Sharks won't have any problem icing an NHL lineup.

They won't be very good but that's ok.

Grier is still rebuilding and there's no need to fast track anything.

He'll probably take a few bad contracts but will have to be fairly compensated to do so.

Chicago is in the same position.

Kampfdump is worthless to the sharks. A massive overpay in the Summer of Brad. there are 10 guys you can get for under 1M on July 1 that is why you are not getting an asset for Kampf or any of the other Leaf all stars that every fan wants to trade. Reaves is particulaly useless since all he does is talk in street clothes

Last time when Marner was a RFA all you heard from Dreger was "offer sheet offer sheet."

Marner never signed one of course even though according to Dreger "multiple teams were sending them."

Fast forward to now and Dreger is saying "Marner isn't signing an extension."

Dreger is once again doing Daddy Marner's dirty work. 🤔
