Umm why am I trading TK + 1st + Brink for Necas when they have roughly the same stats?

Also, Atkinson is most likely being bought out.

2. Necas on torts team would be pretty funny

At least you are the first-person I've seen slot Couts where he belongs. However, Frost will never be a first line center and Wennberg is a stretch at 2nd line center. Frost and Wennberg are complimentary pieces on a good team not your 1,2 on a rebuilding team. Robertson and Amadio are also complimentary pieces not suited for this rebuild, I would rather give those spots to prospects like Brink and Eklind.

Now, for Konecny I think thats a great deal for Carolina and a wait and see deal for the Flyers. Necas might turn into the player you think but will he? Do you gamble parts of your future for an unknown? For me there is not a lot of data on Necas to warrant that trade. Also I think Brink would flourish under Brindamour. If Im trading Brink and Konecny together with a 1st I think I would prefer a more known commodity and a center position which we need badly, someone like Joel Erikson-Ek.
