We ain't getting anything for Pageau

Had to get Pageau off the books either way or couldn’t make some of the other moves

Ditto, Ehlers-Horvat-Barzal would be a top 5 line tbh

I'd actually want Pageau on EDM were it not for his contract. If you could find a way for a 3rd team to retain 2.5mil, I'd pay them to facilitate such a trade.

I think it’s beneficial for the islanders to get him off the books, and I think it’s a great landing spot in Edmonton. I just sort of tossed in the draft pick, but it was more about the idea of getting him off the books and to a realistic destination

If that top line is shut down, then that spells trouble IMO
