NSH declines. This is too much for NSH to give up for Marner. Considering his inability to show up in the playoffs, NSH isn't trading a franchise goalie, a top prospect, and a 1st for Marner. Even assuming this deal comes with a Marner extension, this is too much.
If Marner comes with a reasonable extension, I'd consider Saros and the TBL 1st for Marner as a starting point for a trade, but Wood will be nearly untouchable for now. NSH just drafted him and he is changing programs, so NSH is going to want to see how that goes before potentially involving him in any trades.
