Description

Just having a bit of fun since I saw this Tavares trade from a Leafs fan, and Sabres allegedly went after Stammer the last time around. Get the details worked out with Stamkos, negotiate the trade with the Leafs and Tavares will waive to go play with his old Ontario Blues teammate not too far from both of their homes.

Savoie/Kulich/Rosen fight for that last spot at camp and get mentored by two likely/potential HOFers. If this team doesn't make the playoffs, we are truly cursed.

Still a soft team, but we'll see what Lindy can do in that regard

Jones has had his best season this year and looks poised to take the 3LHD spot next year. Really impressed with his game and think NYR would prefer to keep him unless a return like this comes about. Don't think it makes sense for BUF with their LHD depth as is. Better option would be a RHD.

Thanks! I personally don't care about handedness, and what they've done the last two years with the addition of Byram to Dahlin/Power/Sammy it seems the Sabres don't either. Not that there's no merit to having balance, just seems like it doesn't matter to most players at this level

Yeah makes sense. Jones would still be redundant with Dahlin, Power, Byram, Samuelsson, Johnson, and Clifton all under contract next year with Jokiharju as RFA.

The value on the Jones deal is fine but I don't see NYR being able to resign Gustafsson which would pencil in Jones for 6D next season.
