What the Sharks need is defense. Their forward prospect core is insane.
(Not all are prospects)
Eklund, Zetterlund, Graf, Smith, Halttunen, Bordelueau, etc..)

Their defense is TERRIBLE.
My guess is that if the Sharks do not get the 1OA in this years draft, they will go for a defenseman.

Lets say these 3 pan out... that is one hell of a base.

they're the favorites in the sense that they have better odds than any other team - that's still only about 20%.

but lets say that happens. Plenty of rebuilding teams have three guys pan out and still struggle because a hockey team ices 18 skaters per game.
