Description
These are complete blockbusters that are relatively unlikely in the real world. Luckily, this isn't the real world, and I get to fantasize all I want.

Welcoming all comments on how close or far I am from fair value, though please maintain a certain level of mutual respect.

CGY Trade Explanation:
Gaudreau isn't necessarily on the block yet, though I can see him being increasingly unwelcome as the games go on and if he's still underperforming. The trade proposal, however, is still timed in this off-season. CGY receives a seasoned true goal-scorer who will promise them 35-goals without a doubt, truly helping them reach the playoffs this season. As such, I estimated that Pacioretty > Gaudreau (even with 2M retained, as this would neutralize any cap differences). I added Jankowski and the countering 2nd to counter-balance that offset. I'd take a random guess that CGY is not willing to part ways with Jankowski, but you gotta give value to receive value. Note, I'd possibly consider trading the 2018 2nd rnd for a 2019 1st rnd, but still undecided.

WSH Trade Explanation
Orpik has negative value and the caps really need him gone. This trade really helps with their cap situation. Davidson is Orpik's replacement on bottom pairing, and McCarron is more of a sweetener slash center position bottom-6 depth with some upside.

I don't know I disagree. Jonny hockey is very good and I watch him all year playing against my oilers and he has some of the nicest hands I've seen. He will have a great year this year and I know it

Hence why I'm trading for him lol. I'm trying to snatch on a buy-low moment in his trade value. If I didn't think he was a great hockey player, I wouldn't trade our captain and NHL #2 5v5 goal scorer.
Then again, as I said, this trade is especially unlikely, unless the Flames GM is especially impatient.

He's a better passer and set up man yes but pacioretty is a better goal scorer but J hockey is also younger so he could improve on his scoring touch as well.

Yeah the salary retaining was before I thought of including Jankowski and the 2nd rnd pick. Definitely should be removed now to make it more fair. Imagine the eye popping hockey we could get!
