    A blue chip top defensive prospect who's 20, in Nurse. Another decent defensive prospect in marincin, and the 16th overall pick???? For Vlassic????? Good thing your not in charge. it would look like Blackhawk Down in the streets of Edmonton trying to get you Out!

    Vlasic is arguably the top shutdown defender in the league. I understand the value is skewed towards San Jose but that's the price you pay for making a trade in the same division.

    Nurse has the potential to be a top pairing defender but the key word is Potential. He hasn't shown that ability on the NHL stage like Vlasic has. With all the firepower upfront having an elite defender on the backend would truly help Edmonton become a contender. Growth from Klefbom, Schultz & LaLeggia will help mitigate the loss of Marincin & Nurse.
