The Flyers easily say no, they want 1st round value for each of Walker and Laughton. Adding retention and 2 cap dumps is really negative value for Philly. Plus the 1st is 3 drafts away. It would need to be the 2025 1st, then throw in the 2024 2nd and a better prospect than Savoie and maybe we can start a discussion.

Walker will not get a 1st since Tanev didn't

It's been reported that Tanev could have returned a 1st if Calgary had been willing to take back a contract. I'm not saying it's likely that they get a 1st but Danny isn't giving Walker away so it would at least need to be a 2nd and a good prospect.

We can agree to disagree, he is playing well on Phillys 2nd pair and getting a ton of minutes. And I'm honestly not sure what his future contract has to do with his value, but apparently he wants 5×5 on his next deal
