However, I wouldn’t be able to stop thinking that the rangers could have had him for free last year and almost certainly gone further in the playoffs and chose not to and it would really piss me off

31 GMs screwed the pooch on Tolvanen. 31 GMs didnt want to give Sprong a measly 2m. The Rangers chose to keep Goodrow and let Vatrano walk. Unfortunately we couldnt afford to resign Buch, that was the problem, which again, I think goes back to the Goodrow signing.
