Probably because Detroit needs RD and has a log jam on LD but I feel like Montreal would be sending a pick. I don't want Detroit to trade their 1st round pick especially not for that return.

I know Fabbri is known for being injured a lot but it's not his fault and this year he's played a good number of games and also is a half ppg player. His cap hit isn't a steal but it's not bad. Idk why people always want to trade him away except for clearing cap space. Those aren't good trades for Detroit. If anything I'd do a one for one. Arizona would be getting a better player that they have to pay more and Detroit gets a worse player that they have to play less.

Carcone has 16 goals and is a cheap contract for next year so that's worth the cost.

Savard has a good contract and for next year so he's not a rental. Red Wings need a really good right shot defensive defenseman to play behind Seider and take some minutes from him cus he's playing too much.
