Reality: Timothy Liljegren is coming into his own this year and playing well but maybe not what up to his draft potential.

Dude!? Have you seen him play lately? He has been great! Giving up a quality 4-5 Dman AND a 1st for Adam Larsson? NO freaking way. Adam Larsson has never been what the Leafs lack. I'd like him on the team sure, in a similar way that I would like Luke Schenn on the team but he is not worth that. Plus he is older. If you are going to spend those assets, why not splurge another 1st and get a Rasmus Anderson instead?

Fifth is about right for Brown. They do not want Timmins.

And yep I have watched every game. I don't see a very high ceiling with Liljegren...I think its pretty much what you have seen lately plus a big chunk of last year. With Liljegren its a fit issue for the most part...he doesn't pair well (like most don't) with any of the current LD...especially when playoff time comes. Notice he has been in the press box for most of that.

Leafs need a guy to pair with Rielly...badly.

Obvi my stuff above is far fetched...but its at the very least an idea of what the Leafs need to get to go through Florida/Boston/NYR or whoever.
