If you're trading for him as a fourth liner then you're not getting him it's that simple. If he's on the block a lot of other teams would trade for him and treat him like a top six center which he is. Don't quote elevated stats based on better line mates when Nashville's entire lineup has been in a blender all season. His only consistent linemate has been Luke Evangelista who is a rookie, and his numbers last year were better. He had 43 points in 51 games last year. So if anything his production is slightly down this year because he had an injury setback early on. But he has 4 goals in his last five games and is rounding into form. He's young and agile big. With offensive upside where Siegenthaler has no offensive upside. Hockey is become a move fluid and transition based game. Siegenthaler doesn't match the speed in which jersey transitions. At least in my opinion. Which to me makes him expendable.
