Great win in Vancouver last night. This is an Interesting proposal. I can see the appeal for the shut down defender (Larsson). Do the Jets really need Wennberg? The price for a Center is going to be very high noting the market set by Lindholm and Monahan and this pushes Barron out of the line up.

If I was Seattle I and you wanted both players, I would want Lambert over Chaz.

I think the Jets have reached diminishing returns territory when it comes to adding another centre. The depth chart is already Sheif / Monahan / Lowry / Vladdy / Gus / Kupari / Toninato / Perfetti. Adding another middle6 centre into the mix and only giving him 4th line minutes isn't really gonna help the team all that much. Honestly it's the same with forwards, there's injury protection for the top6 (Nino and Iafallo) as well as the bottom6 (Kups / Gus / Toninato / AJF). The Jets are really deep up front this year.

Another RHD is very much needed in my opinion. D core is solid, but I don't want Stanley having to play in the playoffs. I know that Schmidt deserves a spot in the lineup and Heinola deserves to play some games, but I'd feel much more at ease in terms of not having Stanley play if there was another.

Larsson, Tanev, and Walker are all good candidates in my opinion.

p.s. I want Chris Driedger at 50% retention, just in case Helle / Bross get injured. I don't trust Delia, and don't think Milic or DiVi are ready yet.

ya I agree with those points, my heart can not stand watching Stanley play in the playoffs
