Absolutely. Brodz has been playing incredibly well as of late and he would be a significant upgrade over Pitlick and whoever they rotate onto that 4th line. Picking up Sissons would solidify the 3rd line.

I would even consider leaving Brodz between Cuylle and Kakko since theyve been playing well and putting Sissons between Goodrow and Vesey to boost their play and production.

Or let Sissons play with Kreider and Eberle, move Mika down to 3rd? I wouldn't mind that experiment either...
Or move Laffy to Mika line, and put Eberle with Bread line, and put Sissons on 4th like you said? Some interesting options there...

When you get a competent depth C who can slot into a middle 6 role, It creates a lot of possibilities. Personally my thoughts would be to play Kreider with Sissons, Kakko and move Cuylle to play with Mika, Eberle. I think Mika needs a fresh start with fresh linemates. Because of the way Kreider plays, I feel like it doesnt really matter what line hes on.

You can go even more extreme and do...
LAF, Mika, Eberle
Panarin, Trocheck, Othmann
Kreider, Sissons, Kakko
Cuylle, Brodz, Vesey

Apparently Ive been hearing that the Pack has been grooming Othmann at RW the last few weeks, could be interesting how that plays out moving forward. Dont be surprised if he gets called up before the deadline like Edstrom did and gets like 5-6 games (hes played 2, can play 7 more without burning his first year of ELC).

Not this preseason but the one before, Othmann and Trocheck looked great together. I also think Berard is a dark horse that played most season on Rw in Hartford, I've heard. If that I true he is a future top 9 Rw, or bott 6 at worst.
I sometimes wonder how Laffy, Mika, Kakko line would work? Mika is basically a Chytil but stronger at that position. Laffy has chemistry with Mika and Kakko. We know that. And maybe put Eberle with Bread and Vinny? Third line you put together looks sick thou but maybe have Othmann there? I don't know... but it is nice with options. wink

Sissons also plays RW, so the flexibility two fold.

The kind of players I like. Can move up and down the lineup and plug in two possible positions. But is NSH really selling? That is my question. But if they do I be all over that if I'm Drury.

Its hard to guess if they are, but the rumors constantly swirling around Saros make it seem like they will be selling.
