Description
The intention here is to make room for the young guns, because our development is suffering because of our heavy wings.

PIT trade to let Lindgren develop at NHL
EDM trade because they need to dump RNH
DAL trade to give them blue-line stability and us some youth depth at LD. For some reason, dallas has a plethora of young upcoming defenseman, so they can spare one. If this particular trade is too undervalued, Heatherington or Nyberg are other options we can propose.

The following year will be a cap crunch though, with Pacioretty, Hudon, Scherbak, Lehkonen, Byron, and Benn's deals expiring. An alternate to signing Jagr this year is trading Shaw in the 18-19 offseason instead.

    No from Dallas. Honka, who can potentially be a top3-dman is more valuable than peaked TOP6 d-man, a needless goalie prospect since Dallas just drafted Oettinger and 4th rd pick, which is as good as nothing for now.

    Ah yes, when I was fixing a cap retention issue, I forgot to add back the notice "This is probably an underpayment, so someone like Heatherington is more likely to happen". My bad.
