Barrie would be a great trade target for the Oilers, but I think COL would ask for more than just Benning and Caggiula. And I know RNH is a Van area local, but as a Canucks fan I'd be pissed if they gave up next year's first for him, let alone adding Goldobin to the deal. That first will be a lottery pick again and we know enough about RNH to tell he isn't a top line player.

To be honest. If I had it my way I would keep nuge. He's a great player would more so benifit this team playing on the wing. Nuge is a number 2 and in some case and teams a number 1 but on the oilers he's number 3 and of course that alone will hurt his production not getting top line minutes. I can see them moving him to the wing I just think since the nucks are losing the sedins they would enjoy a number 1 or 2 centre. I'm thinking nuge would be right behind horvat

Agreed, a Horvat/Nuge center combo would be pretty nice for Van, I just wouldn't want to give up next year's first for him. I think a deal around Tanev/Nuge would be much more beneficial for both teams. And how often has RNH played the wing? I'd be way more intrigued about playing him on Horvat's wing long term as he'd be a very good setup guy for Bo and Boeser.

Not often at all. Draisitil has played the wing more then nuge. I feel as though they will put nuge beside McDavid. Two very fast skates who can set each other up. Ever since we traded for strome PC has stated strome will play his natural position in centre so I'm thinking ok letestu is probably one of the best fourth line centreman so he's got to play the third centre position unless they're going to play Drai on McDavid's wing but Drai is better when he commands his own line. I'm not sure but yes a nuge for tanev deal would be nice. Would even love nuge for stecher and a second

How about Nuge and a second or a first for Ericsson at 25% retained Virtanen and stetcher

I don't see it happening from either side. That's a long contract for Van to retain on and I doubt the Oilers would want to take on Eriksson's full deal. On top of that the Canucks shouldn't be dealing away their younger players that still have good upside. Virtanen is a question mark (I see him as a middle six winger) and Stecher looks like he could be a good top 4 D.

I feel like Nuge could either be the second line centre or play with Horvat Virtanen I agree but I don't think he'll find it in vancouver

if edmonton is taking on louis deal it would have to be 50% retained they cant afford a 3rd liner for over 4M and theres no way they give up a pick as well in that trade

Loui would slot in next to Connor or Leon would expect 50 plus points for 3-4 of the 5 years Stetcher can be a top fpour defenseman.
