They have almost the same record after 35 games as they've had in each of the past two seasons and, since the coaching change, Skinner has posted a sv% above .910 and their defensive game has solidified. The narrative you're operating off of is about 1.5 months outdated. As for "not so smart", despite their flaws, they've only ever traded a 1st in a deal for a top pairing Dman.

It actually does because Holland is stupid lol He has the 2 best players in the world and builds absolute **** around them. The fact McDavid doesn't have at least a couple of Cups so far shows how bad of a GM he is. He makes terrible trades and signings.

It's not alleged, it's a fact. He's a terrible GM. If he was average the team would be making at least the conference finals every season, but alas he hands out crap contracts and makes bad decisiosn.
