From what I heard he’s good.
I know there was a rumour months ago that Washington was interested in Garland.
I don’t know if they’re still interested him or not.
That’s based on my opinion.

He’s kinda like Myers, except Myers makes more mistakes than Jensen.

Very different style than Myers. Jensen is much more of the prototypical puck-mover archetype and while he doesn't shy away from physicality isn't the big body that Myers is. He's been very underrated his past few years in Washington and for the last 3 was a legit 2RD. Definitely slowed down a bit this year but he also was one of the few guys for who Laviolette's system worked perfectly. I would think the Caps take this deal with the retention on Garland and if they actually sign Bear.

With Patches getting close and Mantha playing well, I'd rather just get picks for Jensen honestly. But that's just me!

Yea not at the level of "must accept" but with the retention that gives them a cheap mantha replacement for the next two years (unless they bring Mantha back, which somehow is looking more and more likely????). Defenseman always have value but I'm also not sure what picks you're getting for Jensen now tbh.

I think Jensen's game is a lot less mistake prone than Myers
